FELINE FRIENDS
Most cat clients choose Zoom for any follow up that is necessary. However, if you decide you want to train your cat, we are working on cooperation in care or further in-person sessions are warranted, I will tailor a package to meet your needs.
Commonly reported cat behavior problems:
Peeing or pooping outside of the litter box
Scratching furniture
Aggression toward other pets in the household
Aggression toward humans

Cats are smart! They are every bit as capable of learning as a dog. Of course, they are cats, so we have to modify our approach accordingly.

Have you ever tried to give your cat a pill, trim her claws or do an injection? Fun, right? Good news, we can train your cat to cooperate with these necessary procedures.
CAT BEHAVIOR
Many cat issues that frustrate humans are actually normal feline behaviors that are only problematic in our homes. For example, most unowned cats have fairly large ranges and live in matriarchal family groups or as bachelors. They scratch surfaces and leave feces and urine in strategic places to communicate with other cats. They can be highly aggressive toward interlopers.
Trying to get two unfamiliar cats to like each other is a chore! Scratched furniture is unsightly and expensive to replace. No one wants pee or poop on their rugs. We do not adopt cats expecting them to scratch or bite us. Luckily, there is a lot we can do to solve these and other problems.
Feline Fact:
Cats are one of the few species that will hunt and kill when they are not hungry.
